At Sumitek Natraj Machinery Pvt Ltd, we are looking for an experienced Design Engineer who can handle complete machine design with practical approach.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D modeling & 2D drafting using SolidWorks + AutoCAD (GD&T)
Design & development of:
- Clamping unit (toggle, platen, tie bar)
- Injection unit (screw, barrel, carriage)
- Machine frame & structure
Engineering calculations:
- Load, force & component sizing
- Servo motor selection (torque, speed, power)
Hydraulic & Electrical Work:
- Hydraulic circuit design & 2D schematic preparation
- Basic electrical understanding (motor, sensors, panel coordination)
- Component selection (pump, valves, motors, sensors, etc.)
Casting & machining-based design for manufacturability
- BOM preparation & technical documentation
- Work closely with production, assembly & testing teams
- Solve real-time issues during assembly, testing & field support
- Continuous improvement of machine design (performance + durability)
Requirements
- 4 – 10 years experience in injection molding machine manufacturing
- Strong in SolidWorks
Knowledge of:
- Hydraulics basics
- Component selection (pump, motor, valves, etc.)
- Basic FEA / simulation (preferred)
Practical, hands-on mindset (not only software work)
