Role Overview:We are looking for a Design Engineer who can translate engineering requirements into precise, practical, and production-ready designs. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet both performance and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Design & Development
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs for GRP products such as Cable Trays, Enclosures, Poles, Ladders, Gratings and structural components.
- Create fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs aligned with project specifications.
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, installation, and long-term performance.
Technical Analysis
- Interpret technical specifications, tender documents, and client requirements.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and validations to ensure structural integrity and product performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and project requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with production, project, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution of designs.
- Support the business development and proposal teams with technical inputs and drawings.
- Coordinate with site teams to address design-related challenges and modifications.
Design Optimization & Innovation
- Continuously improve existing product designs for cost efficiency and performance.
- Identify opportunities for standardization and modular design approaches.
- Contribute to new product development initiatives.
Documentation & Version Control
- Maintain organized design documentation, revisions, and drawing records.
- Ensure proper version control and adherence to company design processes.

- Able to convert concepts into practical, executable designs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in design Engineering (industrial/manufacturing preferred).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CorelDraw or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and material properties.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred:- Proficiency in English
- Experience with GRP/FRP or composite materials.
- Exposure to industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, or Water Treatment.
- Familiarity with fabrication and manufacturing processes.
