Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Pune City. The Accountant will be responsible for daily financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, and liaising with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budget Management
- Knowledge of Taxation, Auditing Processes, and Compliance Standards
- Data Analysis and Financial Software Skills (e.g., Tally, SAP, or equivalent)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent are a plus
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects preferred
