Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position for a Design Engineer based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining product designs, utilizing CAD software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring products meet both functional requirements and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities also include prototyping, analyzing engineering data, and optimizing designs for manufacturing and performance.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Design Engineering and Product Design, including concept development and innovation
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for modeling and drafting
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities for design optimization
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and meet project timelines
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations related to medical devices and IVDs is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience in product development for medical devices or related domains is preferred
