Role Description
This full-time Design Engineer position is based on-site in Ahmedabad. The role's core responsibilities include designing, developing, and testing components, systems, and equipment, with a focus on industrial valves. The candidate will prepare engineering drawings using CAD software, oversee design improvements, and collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards and product specifications. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting design challenges and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product functionality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing for the design and development of products
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in quality assurance practices, troubleshooting, and product testing
- Project management skills, including planning and designing engineering solutions
- Collaborative skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of industrial valve manufacturing is a strong advantage
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
