Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Engineer at Kay Bouvet Engineering Ltd., located in Satara, India. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing design solutions, performing analyses, and creating detailed technical drawings and models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Daily tasks will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize, design, and refine engineering projects related to the Sugar, Nuclear, Defence, and Space industries. The Design Engineer will also ensure that designs meet client requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines while contributing to the overall success of project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering, including the ability to develop innovative and practical solutions to technical challenges
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles, with the ability to apply them to multidisciplinary projects
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed models and technical drawings
- Experience in Product Design, including conceptualization, prototyping, and optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation
- Prior experience in heavy engineering industries (e.g., Nuclear, Defence, or Space) is a plus
- Knowledge of industry standards, quality control processes, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
