Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Design Engineer. In this role, the Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and optimizing innovative designs, developing and analyzing prototypes, and managing the product development lifecycle. Daily tasks include working with CAD tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the technical feasibility of designs while adhering to quality and timeline requirements. The role also involves staying updated on industry trends and adopting best practices in design engineering.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and techniques
- A strong understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts and applications
- Experience in Product Design, with a focus on innovation and functionality
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach
- Strong project management and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of industry standards and familiarity with prototyping methods
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field)
- Prior experience in Design Engineering or product development is a plus
