Job Description:
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The role involves designing stainless-steel tanks, pressure vessels, and process systems for chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, brewery, distillery, and personal-care industries. The Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, supporting project execution, and working closely with fabrication and project teams to ensure designs are technically sound, manufacturable, and aligned with customer specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D and 3D drawings for tanks, vessels, and process equipment.
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.
- Support process layout and piping design.
- Coordinate with fabrication and project teams during execution.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
Required Skills:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of stainless.
- steel fabrication and welding practices.
- Basic understanding of pressure vessels and process equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and P&IDs.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
