Job title –Graduate Engineer – Water Structures (UK)

Qualification & Experience;

• M.E. / M. Tech from a recognized University.
  
  

Principal Duties & Key Responsibilities;

• Carrying out the analysis and design of structural elements in accordance with relevant Eurocodes and other International codes and standards
• Building analytical models using structural software tools such as Autodesk Robot, Staad Pro etc.
• Preparation of Design Reports, Design calculations, loads and stresses related to different structures under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Preparation of Excel spread sheet for design calculation.
• Working under supervision and guidance of Senior Engineer on various projects in line with client requirement.
• Provide design input to CAD/BIM and co-ordinate with CAD/BIM staff for preparation of drawings.
• Compliance of Arcadis business management system.
• Compliance with relevant H & S regulations and to follow company procedures.
  
  

Required Competencies;

• Degree in Civil Engineering and Masters degree in Structural Engineering
• Good understanding of Indian codes of practices and familiarity with British, European, Amarican, UBC and other International standards and practices related to Structural Engineering would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of various software used in Structural Engineering would be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office.
• A strong, self-motivated and assertive person capable of working under pressure.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Flexible to adopt new work /challenge work as per business requirement.
