Design Development Specialist - GFC Detailing (Retail Interiors)
Indiranagar, Bengaluru | On-site | Full-time | Immediate joiners preferred
STUDIOJ is an experiential design studio that has created retail spaces for 175+ brands across India and the UAE, including Puma, Jockey, Cultsport, Malabar Gold and more. We're hiring 2 Design Development Specialists to take approved concepts and turn them into precise, build-ready GFC (Good For Construction) decks.
What you'll do
- Build GFC decks that vendors and contractors can execute without a single call
- Turn mood boards, material palettes and spatial concepts into technical drawings
- Work with architects, designers, VMs and project managers, and map MEP, lighting and AC drawings accurately into your set
- Keep drawings code-compliant and brand-compliant across flagships, shop-in-shops and kiosks
- Own quality checks, version control and a clean handover to the site team
- Run multiple projects at once and see them built
What you bring
- Bachelor's in Architecture or Interior Design
- 2+ years in interior detailing and construction documentation
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Solid knowledge of materials, finishes, construction methods and fit-out details
- Comfort using AI tools to work faster
- An ownership mindset: accountable, agile, disciplined, always learning
