industry with our innovative AI-powered construction management solution, “Kael” — an AI project manager that predicts delays, flags risks, automates reporting, and prevents cost overruns with
real-time construction intelligence. Our hardware platform, “Observance”, uses LiDAR scanning,
thermal imaging, and AI-powered analysis to deliver BIM models, deviation detection, and as-built

Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to join our growing project delivery team. This role supports the effective translation of client briefs, BOQs, and design specifications into structured execution plans. The team operates with an AI-powered project management platform as its primary working tool — all field information must be captured into the platform in real time, and its outputs used to drive delivery. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Responsibilities
1) Design Compliance & Deliverable Tracking
● Ensure design compliance with the project brief throughout the construction lifecycle; use AI compliance outputs to validate design submissions against the project brief, NBC standards, and agreed specifications.
● Track and ensure all design deliverables and drawings are available for construction to prevent stoppages of work due to design delays.
● Manage the approval of samples and mock-ups in line with the programme.
● Ensure shop drawings are reviewed, commented on, and approved on schedule.
● Process and document change orders where variances arise between design intent and as-built conditions.
2) Drawing & Document Management
● Manage the flow of drawings, RFIs, and design clarifications between clients, consultants, and on-site teams.
● Maintain version control of design drawings and specifications so site teams always work from the latest approved revision.
● Track design submission schedules and approvals; maintain up-to-date registers for all design documents in the platform.
● Coordinate design review cycles and ensure consolidated feedback is captured, communicated, and actioned.
● Support authority approval processes by maintaining current permit, NOC, and statutory document trackers.
3) Platform & Reporting
● Input and maintain design briefs, drawing registers, BOQ linkages, and specification mappings in the project management platform.
● Track design milestones, approval dependencies, and sample/mock-up timelines within the platform schedule.
● Review and act on AI-generated alerts for design-related risks, document gaps, and approval delays.
● Prepare design-related progress and compliance reports for client and internal review meetings.
Qualifications
● 2–4 years of experience in a design coordination or architectural documentation role within the construction industry.
● Degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
● Strong understanding of construction drawing packages, BOQs, and design submission workflows.
● Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent design tools; experience with digital project management platforms is an advantage.
● Familiarity with BIS/NBC standards and authority approval processes is preferred.
● Detail-oriented with strong organisational and communication skills.
