Internship Overview

We are seeking a motivated UX/UI Design Intern to join our remote team and support our existing design team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience on live projects while working alongside experienced designers. You'll assist in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered digital interfaces while learning industry best practices and building your professional portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Support the existing UX/UI team on design projects and deliverables
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure smooth design delivery
• Help build and maintain the studio's design portfolio and case studies
• Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups under supervision
• Support user research activities and usability testing processes
• Help maintain design systems and component libraries
• Participate in design reviews and team brainstorming sessions
• Gain hands-on experience working on live client projects across various industries
• Learn and apply design thinking methodologies in real-world scenarios
• Document design processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Basic proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Understanding of fundamental design principles and user experience concepts
• Strong visual design sense with attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup
• Portfolio showcasing design projects (academic or personal work accepted)
• Familiarity with responsive design principles
• Basic understanding of user research methods
• Knowledge of design systems and component-based design
• Experience with collaborative design tools and workflows

Selection Process Our hiring process consists of two rounds:

1. Initial Interview - Discussion about your design interests, portfolio, and learning goals
2. Design Assessment - Simple design challenge to assess your current skills and potential

• Internship Duration: 5-6 months with possibility of extension or full-time conversion
