Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Architect role based in Borivali. The Design Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and refining architectural designs for commercial and residential projects, from early concept through detailed design. Daily responsibilities include preparing sketches, schematic layouts, and construction drawings; coordinating with internal design teams and consultants; and ensuring design intent is maintained through all project stages. The role involves participating in client meetings, presenting design options, and incorporating feedback into project solutions. The Design Architect will also support design management activities such as schedule coordination, documentation control, and adherence to quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience across concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
- Proficiency in Design Management, including coordination of design deliverables, timelines, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to prepare accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation that meet regulatory and code requirements.
- Effective Communication skills for working with clients, consultants, and colleagues, including clear visual and verbal presentation of design ideas.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
- Proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic familiarity with sustainable design principles.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven studio environment.
- Experience with local building codes, permitting processes, and on-site coordination is preferred.
