Role Description The Design Architect will work on architectural concept development, space planning, and detailed design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Responsibilities include preparing design presentations, coordinating drawings and documentation, and collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design intent is maintained through all project stages. The role involves reviewing construction drawings, participating in site visits, and providing design inputs during execution to address technical and aesthetic requirements. The Design Architect will engage in client meetings, support project management activities, and contribute to design quality and innovation across the studio. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop concepts and translate them into functional, buildable solutions.
- Experience in Design Management, including coordination of design deliverables, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to project timelines.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, with attention to technical accuracy, compliance, and detailing.
- Effective Communication skills for working with clients, consultants, and project teams, and for presenting design ideas clearly.
- Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with local codes and regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple projects, and maintain high standards of design and documentation.
- Prior experience in architectural firms or studios, especially in urban or high-density projects, will be beneficial.
