Role Description: The Design & Analysis Engineer role at PVRL is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role involves designing mechanical systems and performing detailed FEA analyses to support defense and space product development. The engineer will create and review design documentation, run simulations, validate prototypes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, reliability, and safety standards are met. Daily responsibilities include problem-solving for complex engineering challenges, optimizing system designs for cost and manufacturability, and supporting testing and integration activities. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain clear technical communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and performance evaluation.
- Candidates should possess Systems Design capabilities to develop integrated defense and space systems and ensure design robustness.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise for structural design, thermal management, and materials selection.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the space industry is required.
- Proficiency with CAD, simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS or similar) is required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ethical, safe engineering practices and adherence to applicable standards and regulations.
