Position Description
Kickstart Your Career as a Testing & Commissioning Engineer
Hands-On Learning Phase (First 3-6 Months):
Shadow & Support senior engineers on live commissioning of:
● Core Electrical Systems:
HT/LT switchgear, transformers, DG sets and synchronization, UPS, STS/ATS,
PDUs/RPPs, busducts, cabling, earthing and bonding, protection and power monitoring
systems.
● Mechanical Systems (working knowledge):
Chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, heat rejection and ventilation systems, primarily for
electrical integration and interdependency understanding.
● ELV & Controls (interface level exposure):
BMS, EMS, FAS and related monitoring/control systems with focus on electrical
integration and commissioning coordination.
● Dive into: Pre-commissioning checks, system readiness reviews, and site inspections
● Study: Reviewing method statements, test procedures, and commissioning checklists
● Grasp: Data Center redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N)
● Build: Documentation skills for T&C reports and test observations
Post-Training Responsibilities (Level Up!):
● Execute: Functional, integrated, and performance testing
● Do Commissioning: From HV substation to downstream loads
● Conduct: Electrical audits at client sites
● Analyze: Test results and prepare comprehensive T&C reports
● Participate: Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and shutdown activities
● Coordinate:With stakeholders like PMCs, CxAs, design consultants, contractors, OEMs, and
clients
● Deliver: Final handover documentation and commissioning sign-offs

Technical Requirements :
● Strong understanding of Electrical fundamentals
● Exposure to mission-critical infrastructure preferred
Qualifications
● Engineering/Masters Graduate
● Degree in Electrical or any other relevant fields
● Have exposure to electrical standards (IS/IEC/IEEE), various CEA regulations, grid codes
● Experience in testing & commissioning of mission critical electrical infrastructure /
auditing / maintaining electrical infrastructure of various types of facilities / plants
Behavioural Skills

● Willingness to work:
