Key responsibilities
- Diagnose diseases through clinical evaluation, history, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for skin conditions.
- Prescribe medications, topical treatments, and therapies.
- Conduct procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and minor surgeries.
- Provide cosmetic treatments like chemical peels and skin rejuvenation.
- Treat conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
- Monitor long-term skin disorders and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Interpret lab tests, skin biopsies, and imaging if required.
- Identify infections, allergies, and other dermatological issues.
- Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Provide follow-up consultations and ongoing care.
- Work with general physicians and other specialists when needed.
- Refer patients for advanced care if required.
- Educate patients on skincare, hygiene, and preventive measures.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle and dermatological health.
Required qualifications
MBBS + MD/DNB in Dermatology
Valid medical registration (NMC / State Medical Council)
Experience in hospital or dermatology clinic preferred
