Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dermatologist role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Dermatologist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including diagnosis and management of skin, hair, and nail conditions, such as acne, dermatitis, infections, and other dermatologic disorders. The role includes performing cosmetic dermatology procedures (e.g., laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, injectables, and other aesthetic interventions) as per clinic protocols and patient needs. Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting consultations, developing personalized treatment plans, documenting cases in accordance with clinical standards, and maintaining high levels of patient safety and satisfaction. The Dermatologist will collaborate with clinic staff, participate in ongoing training and upskilling programs, stay updated on emerging cosmetology and trichology techniques, and contribute to patient education and practice growth.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Medicine and Dermatology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions.
- Clinical expertise in Cosmetic Dermatology and Cosmetology, including common aesthetic procedures and evidence-based skincare and hair treatments.
- Hands-on experience or demonstrated competency in managing acne and related skin disorders using medical and procedural approaches.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in Dermatology (MD/DNB or equivalent), valid medical registration, and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in a high-demand clinical setting, with strong patient communication skills, ethical practice, and attention to detail in clinical documentation.
- Commitment to continuous learning, openness to advanced training in cosmetology and trichology, and willingness to adopt new technologies and techniques.
- Prior experience in an urban dermatology or aesthetic clinic is beneficial; familiarity with laser platforms, injectables, and non-surgical aesthetic procedures is an advantage.bb
