Role Description
PTC India is hiring a full-time Derivatives Trader for an on-site role based in Ghaziabad. The Derivatives Trader will develop and execute trading strategies, analyze and monitor market trends in commodity and derivatives markets, and implement effective hedging techniques to minimize financial risks. Responsibilities will include managing futures trading portfolios, identifying key investment opportunities, and proactively adapting strategies to market changes to maximize returns. The trader will work closely with the team to ensure efficient trading operations and will report directly to senior management to provide actionable insights and performance updates.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Trading Strategies and Trading execution
- Proficiency in Hedging and identifying risk mitigation methodologies
- Solid knowledge of Commodity Markets and Futures Trading principles
- Analytical mindset with an ability to assess market trends and opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; a master's degree or certifications like CFA or FRM will be a plus
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure
- Experience in a trading environment or a financial institution is preferred
