Derivatives Senior Analyst

Role Overview
The Transaction Services team is a multi-skilled operations team responsible for cash operations, asset servicing, trade operations, and derivatives processing.
This role requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced operations environment, enjoys team collaboration, and demonstrates a strong interest in leveraging technology and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Process assigned transactions and operational events accurately within defined deadlines, ensuring appropriate follow-ups and escalations when required.
- Prioritize workload effectively and escalate issues to senior team members when necessary.
- Assist in resolving queries, stock reconciliation breaks, and cash reconciliation breaks, escalating unresolved items based on predefined criteria such as age, value, and client impact.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc tasks and project assignments, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines.
- Manage client and stakeholder queries proactively, maintaining high standards of communication quality and timeliness.
- Adhere to departmental controls and operational procedures, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing operational risk, saving time and cost, and improving service quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Portfolio Implementers, Dealers, operational teams, and external counterparties on day-to-day operational matters.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Working knowledge of Derivatives processing, including Collateral Management.
- Experience in Trade Operations across multiple asset classes, including:
- Equities
- Fixed Income (including ABS/MBS)
- FX
- Money Markets
- Unit Trusts
- Repo and Term Deposits
- Experience in Cash Operations, particularly payments processing.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards.
- Understanding of Corporate Actions lifecycle, including:
- Mandatory events
- Voluntary events
- Income processing
- Awareness of operational risks within the transaction and asset lifecycle.
- Skills:business process outsourcing,derivatives,derivatives management,aladdin,
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on experience with Aladdin.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience working in financial operations, trade operations, or transaction services environments.
- Ability to manage operational tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
