Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Power BI & SQL Developer with strong expertise in data visualisation, dashboard development, and SQL query optimisation. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working in a Banking Contact Centre environment and be proficient with Data Lake technologies and AWS cloud services. This role involves transforming large and complex datasets into meaningful insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visual analytics tailored for contact centre operations.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and transformation.
- Work extensively with Data Lakes for ingestion, storage, and retrieval of large datasets.
- Build robust data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
- Collaborate with contact centre teams to understand KPIs such as AHT, FCR, call volume trends, agent performance, etc.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and security in compliance with banking industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimise dashboard performance, query execution, and data refresh schedules.
- Prepare technical documentation and support BI governance best practices.
Required Qualifications And Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong expertise in DAX, data modelling, and Power Query.
- Solid command over SQL with the ability to write and optimise complex queries.
- Strong experience working with Data Lake architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services like S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and Lambda (as applicable).
