Role Description The Deputy Sales Manager – Edtech/Education is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi. This role involves overseeing day-to-day sales operations, guiding a sales team to achieve enrollment and revenue targets, and identifying new business opportunities in the education and edtech segments. The Deputy Sales Manager will engage with prospective learners and partners, conduct consultations, and present Aimlay’s educational offerings to drive conversions. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, tracking performance metrics, preparing regular sales reports, and collaborating with counseling, marketing, and academic teams to optimize lead generation and learner experience. The role also requires maintaining strong relationships with universities and institutional partners, staying current on education trends, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes.
Qualifications- Minimum 8 years in Inside Sales and Team Leading
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
- Monitor daily sales activities, team productivity, and conversion metrics.
- Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews to improve team performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and present performance updates to management.
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads and maintain high conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to improve lead quality and customer experience.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when required.
