Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Deputy Sales Manager based in Mumbai, allowing a combination of in-office and remote work. The Deputy Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distribution networks, leading a team to achieve sales targets, expanding customer base, and cultivating relationships with key retail partners. Additional responsibilities include analyzing market trends, implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring proper alignment between Fintech and FMCG operations to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in sales management, distribution operations, and retail partnerships
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams to meet sales targets
- Analytical and strategic skills with expertise in analyzing market trends and deploying action plans
- Effective communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the FMCG sector and/or fintech-based solutions is an advantage
- Proficiency in digital tools and CRM platforms for sales tracking
- Willingness to travel as required within Mumbai and nearby regions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
- Ability to innovate and align with the company’s mission to empower local retailers
