Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager in Sea Freight based in Hyderabad. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end operations for sea freight, ensuring smooth handling of both imports and exports, maintaining strong client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service. The Deputy Manager will oversee team performance, coordinate with carriers, and ensure compliance with regulations while working collaboratively to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Ocean Freight operations, including both import and export processes
- Proficiency in customer service and building effective client relationships
- Experience in logistics, with a focus on freight management and compliance
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with industry systems and tools for sea freight and customs
