Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Deputy Manager - Welding to join our team on-site in Indapur. The role involves supervising welding operations, ensuring adherence to established quality standards, and implementing welding procedures. The Deputy Manager will oversee a team of welding professionals and provide technical support to resolve issues related to arc, TIG, and MIG welding processes. Collaborating closely with design and manufacturing teams, the role will include conducting inspections, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing operational efficiency in welding-related activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Arc Welding and general Welding processes
- Proven skills in TIG Welding and MIG Welding techniques
- Solid understanding of Materials and their specific welding requirements
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Experience in developing and implementing welding procedures and quality standards
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to welding operations
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in heavy engineering or allied sectors
