Role Purpose
The role is responsible for driving new business acquisition and revenue growth across South India, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical and biotech clients. The incumbent will lead the complete sales lifecycle for consulting and turnkey engineering projects, from opportunity identification to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute regional sales strategy
- Identify high-potential clients across pharma, biotech, CDMOs
- Build strong pipeline through market mapping and networking
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build relationships with CXOs, project heads, procurement teams
- Position company as strategic partner
- Drive repeat business
3. Consultative Selling
- Understand technical requirements
- Work with internal teams to develop solutions
- Lead presentations and discussions
4. Sales Cycle Management
- Manage full lifecycle: lead → closure
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals
- Handle negotiations
5. Project-Based Selling
- Manage high-value project sales (₹1 Cr – ₹20 Cr+)
- Handle complex decision cycles
6. Market Intelligence
- Track competitors and trends
- Identify new opportunities
7. Internal Coordination
- Work with BU, proposal, and marketing teams

Candidate Profile
- Engineering graduate (Mechanical/Chemical preferred)
- MBA preferred
- 7–8 years B2B sales experience

- 50–70% travel across South India
