B.E/ Electrical /Mechanical/Mechatronics, Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (MSBTE) ,Fire Safety Engineering-MSBTE, (14-18 Years Work Experience)
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006, PESO, NBC, NFPA and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate renewal of Factory, PESO, Sulphur, LDO, Boiler, and other statutory licenses.
- Submit statutory reports, maintain legal records, and support compliance audits.
Global Safety & Disaster Prevention Reporting
- Support implementation of Bridgestone Global SHE standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Disaster Prevention and Safety reports, Survey etc
- Coordinate APIC communication, incident sharing, and Disaster Prevention and Safety compliance reviews.
Fire Safety & Disaster Prevention Activities
- Lead Global Fire & Safety audits, drive compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Ensure operational readiness, maintenance, and AMC management of fire protection systems, firefighting equipment, and emergency response infrastructure.
- Coordinate emergency response drills, Disaster Prevention campaigns, and disaster preparedness initiatives across the plant.
- Administer and monitor the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, with special emphasis on Hot Work permit compliance.
- Deliver Fire Safety, Disaster Prevention, and Emergency Response training programs to employees and contractors.
- Support incident investigations through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and sustenance of improvement measures.
- Effectively manage teams, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve safety and DP objectives.
