Exide Energy Solutions Ltd is setting up India’s first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells in Bengaluru. Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Process Engineer in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company’s goal at the Devanahalli, Bangalore Location.


Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore


This is a 5-day, in-office role, with the 1st and last Saturdays of each month as working days. Please apply if you are comfortable with this schedule.


Purpose: The purpose of the Production Process Engineer role is to ensure the efficient and sustainable operation of our Li-ion Cell Gigafactory's cutting-edge manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and upholding the highest standards of quality and sustainability


Job Description:

  • Analyse and evaluate advanced manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive ongoing process enhancements, promoting operational excellence.
  • Collect and analyse production data, using data-driven insights to optimize processes and ensure seamless production.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain high standards of product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance team to develop and execute preventive maintenance plans, minimizing equipment downtime.
  • Champion initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and environmental impact within the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of process changes, standard operating procedures, and best practices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to Operations teams, ensuring the effective implementation and sustainability of new processes.


Qualification:

BE or B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing / Industrial Automation


Experience:

5-15 Years of experience in Production Process Engineering experience in OEM / Tier 1 Automotive company
