Maruti Suzuki India Limited, BU Hansalpur plant is a subsidiary of Maruti Suzuki India Limited to produce automobiles from Gujarat, was established in March 2014, aiming to secure production ability in preparation for the automobile market growth in India, as well as for expansion of exports from India. In MSIL – BU Hansalpur, Plant A started operating from February 2017, subsequently Plant B, Powertrain Plant started in January 2019. In October 2020, MSIL-BU Hansalpur became the fastest production site of Maruti Suzuki to achieve accumulated automobile production of 1 million units. MSIL – Hansalpur is also home of Maruti Suzuki’s prestigious e-Vitara, the first EV of Maruti Suzuki in world. The plant proudly exported the e-Vitara to more than 165 countries so far. Position: Deputy Manager - Paint Shop (Maintenance)
Experience: 08 to 12 years of relevant experience in handling paint shop maintenance with automobile OEM
About the Role
We are looking for paint shop maintenance professionals having relevant experience in maintenance & troubleshooting of paint shop equipment like Overhead chain conveyor system, baking ovens, fan & pumps for our Hansalpur facility in Gujarat.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for carrying our all type of maintenance of paint shop equipment.
- Planning and execution of preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, conditioning monitoring, shut down maintenance activity of all mechanical & electrical equipment.
- Able to maintain all systems high viscosity system-sealer, paint robots (mechanical Maintenance & robot applicator maintenance), paint booths, paint mixing room, air handling units-ASU/AHU.
- Can perform PLC programming & troubleshooting (Mitsubishi), Yaskawa Inverter, Mitsubishi Inverter, Shot Blasting Machine.
- Responsible for Manual, robotic and Electrostatic Guns Maintenance and Base coat, Metalizing, Hard-Coat and Antifog operation.
- Monitor cycle time optimization efficiency and improve Performance of Machine.
- Ensure safety, health and hygiene, Occupational health and safety at shop floor.
- Support in problem-solving, kaizen & continuous improvements.
- Ensuring zero breakdown during operation.
Qualifications
B. Tech/BE in Electrical or Mechanical
Required Skills
- Well-structured and organized working style.
- In-depth knowledge & understanding of paint shop processes, robots’ maintenance and PLC.
- Support to 5s, problem solving and various compliances and audits as per requirement.
