Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Manager - NVOCC, based in Mumbai. The Deputy Manager will oversee day-to-day operations in the NVOCC division, including customer relationship management, operational planning, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include supervising shipment processes, coordinating with shipping partners, resolving customer issues, optimizing logistics operations, and delivering excellent customer service. The role will also involve preparing performance reports and contributing to strategy development to enhance efficiency and growth within the division.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of NVOCC operations, shipping regulations, and logistics industry practices
- Skills in customer service, relationship management, and addressing operational challenges
- Experience with operational planning, management of shipping schedules, and performance reporting
- Proficiency with technology and logistics software for shipment tracking and order management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders effectively
- Prior experience in a managerial or similar role in logistics or NVOCC operations is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
