Role Description
The Deputy Manager – Marketing & Communications will support the strategic and operational marketing agenda of the organization. This role demands strong functional expertise in integrated marketing, digital strategy, brand communication, and cross‑functional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings creativity, ownership, and a strong execution mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Product Marketing
- Work closely with R&D/Engineering to develop product marketing collateral, including spec sheets, brochures, feature decks, and competitive analysis.
- Create and execute compelling brand, product, and corporate presentations, videos, and external communication assets.
Events & Trade Marketing
- Plan and manage pan‑India trade shows, exhibitions, customer meets, and other promotional events end‑to‑end.
- Collaborate with vendors, sales teams, and logistics partners to ensure flawless execution.
Digital Marketing & Marketing Automation
- Manage and update company websites in coordination with external agencies; familiarity with WordPress/AEM preferred, but not mandatory.
- Oversee digital campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn (awareness, lead generation, retargeting).
- Should have good understanding of content management.
- Use marketing automation tools to drive customer engagement, feedback flows, and loyalty programs.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Vendor Management
- Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders across departments to drive integrated initiatives.
- Manage marketing vendors, agencies, and creative partners for consistent quality and timely delivery.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional command over spoken and written English (UK).
- Proficiency in Canva, Google Analytics, and CMS tools like AEM/WordPress.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools.
- Strong creative sensibility with the ability to conceptualize and design marketing collaterals.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and persuasive skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and drive projects independently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduate with MBA in Marketing, a Diploma in Digital Marketing would be an added advantage.
- Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering-driven sector.
