Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Manager/Manager – Valuations based in Ahmedabad. The role involves leading and executing business valuation engagements for a variety of purposes, including transactions, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include developing valuation models, performing detailed financial and industry analysis, preparing valuation reports, and presenting findings to internal stakeholders and clients. The Deputy Manager/Manager will review team deliverables, ensure adherence to professional standards and firm methodologies, and contribute to quality control on engagements. The role also includes supervising and mentoring junior team members, supporting business development initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams within the firm.
Qualifications
- Strong financial analysis and valuation skills, including experience with DCF, market multiples, and transaction comparables.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced MS Excel; familiarity with valuation and research databases is an advantage.
- Sound understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and relevant valuation standards or guidelines.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and supervise junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, ASA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience in valuation, transaction advisory, investment banking, or related financial advisory roles.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards.
