Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurgaon for a Deputy Manager/Manager in Internal Communications. The role involves developing and executing internal communication strategies to engage and inform employees, creating content for internal platforms, managing corporate announcements, and coordinating with various teams to ensure cohesive internal messaging. The role also includes organizing internal events, preparing newsletters, and supporting leadership communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
2) Social Media Management (Official Handles)
- Manage Social Media Agency and ensure day‑to‑day publishing, scheduling, and hygiene across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Podcasts, Insta and Facebook, ensuring that social is not the first medium for official content and complies with external communication standards.
- Create or oversee creation of posts (static, carousel, video) based on approved content; maintain tone, voice, and templating aligned to brand guidelines
- Manage and implement response protocols for comments, escalation paths for negative conversations, and adherence to conduct/confidentiality rules across handles under the guidance of Communications Head.
- Track and report channel KPIs (reach, engagement, click‑throughs, follower growth) and optimize cadence/formats.
3) Liaison with Social Media Agency
- Act as day‑to‑day owner for the social media/creative agency: brief quality content, manage deliverables and timelines, and review creatives for compliance before publishing.
- Align agency plans to internal calendars (events, webinars, reports) and ensure coordination with BD/analytical teams for inputs and approvals.
- Drive performance reviews, and manage social media budgets
4) Newsletter Ownership
- End‑to‑end ownership of the newsletter: editorial planning, content collection, copy‑editing, design coordination, and dissemination using mailchimp. Measure open rates, CTR, and reader feedback; Partner with IT/production teams to create HTML assets, maintain page hygiene, and keep documents (PPTs, recordings, PDFs) updated post events/webinars.
6) Event/Webinar Content Support (as needed)
- Coordinate invites, HTML mailers coordination, and post‑event content (collages, quote creatives, infographics, podcasts) in partnership with SM agency.
- Publish event pages on LinkedIn and manage organic/paid campaigns where appropriate.
7) Analytics & Reporting
- Build a monthly dashboard covering website, social, and newsletter performance; distill insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
8) Stakeholder Management
- Run regular content/calendar reviews; document decisions and share meeting notes with attendees.
Skills & Competencies
- Editorial excellence: Excellent Oral and Written Communications Skills
- Project management: calendar ownership, deadline discipline, documentation.
- Vendor management: briefing, reviewing, and optimizing agency output.
- Collaboration: confident working with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
- Creative capability: ability to create basic visual and video content using Canva Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and video editing tools
- Digital fluency: GA4, LinkedIn/Twitter analytics
- Email/Newsletter: Mailchimp (or equivalent)
- Design & Video: Canva Pro, Adobe Photoshop, basic video editing tools
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in internal/corporate communications, with hands‑on ownership of website, social, and newsletters in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with external creative/social agencies and internal production/IT teams.
- Strong editorial skills (copywriting and editing) and stakeholder management.
