Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager at our Mumbai location. The Deputy Manager will oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and compliance, develop and implement strategies to improve processes, and manage relationships with internal teams and clients. Additionally, the role involves supervising team members, analyzing operational data for decision-making, monitoring industry trends, and contributing to the company’s overall growth and success.
Qualifications
- Operations management skills, including process improvement and workflow optimization
- Team leadership and people management abilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions
- Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant logistics management tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in the shipping or maritime industry is an advantage
- Knowledge of global import/export regulations is preferred
