Role Description
The Deputy Manager – Recoveries will oversee debt recovery operations and lead efforts to ensure consistent achievement of targeted recovery rates and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing a team of recovery agents, analyzing portfolios, designing and implementing debt recovery strategies, and building relationships with key stakeholders. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, reporting recovery progress, and maintaining a standardized customer-centric approach to collections. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of debt recovery processes, portfolio management, and strategy implementation
- Ability to lead and manage a team, fostering productivity and collaboration
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong background in performance monitoring, reporting, and data-driven decision-making
- Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance standards related to debt management
- Proficiency in relevant technology platforms, including knowledge of machine learning and digital communication tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or certifications in finance or debt management is a plus
- Experience in the fintech or financial services sector is highly desirable
