Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Noida. The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. Responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, analyzing market trends to anticipate price fluctuations, and ensuring timely procurement to meet project timelines. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vendor Management, Contract Negotiation, and Supply Chain Coordination
- Proficiency in Procurement Planning, Inventory Management, and Cost Optimization
- Experience in Budget Management, Market Research, and Strategic Sourcing
- Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools, along with excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferable)
- Industry knowledge, particularly in engineering or pollution control solutions, would be an advantage
