We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Civil Engineering professional to lead and manage civil construction activities for our upcoming integrated steel plant project. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to industrial project execution, particularly within steel plant environments, with expertise in planning, coordination, execution, and site management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end civil construction activities for steel plant project execution
- Plan, monitor, and ensure timely completion of all civil works within budget and quality standards
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution
- Review civil drawings, BOQs, layouts, technical specifications, and construction methodologies
- Supervise site activities including foundations, RCC structures, structural works, roads, drainage, utilities, and industrial infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and quality norms
- Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, contractor billing, and material utilization
- Identify project risks, delays, and cost overruns and implement corrective measures
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams for integrated execution
- Drive contractor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Prepare MIS reports, project updates, and progress presentations for management
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory
- Minimum 20 years of experience in industrial/steel plant projects
- Prior experience in steel plant setup/expansion projects is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of industrial civil construction and project execution
- Experience in handling large-scale EPC/greenfield/brownfield projects preferred
- Strong leadership, contractor management, and coordination skills
- Good understanding of project planning tools and construction management practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
