Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Deputy CTO). The Deputy CTO will assist in shaping the company’s IT strategy, overseeing end-to-end technical operations, and leading the development of innovative software and technology products. Responsibilities include spearheading software development projects, managing IT and technology teams, designing system architecture, and ensuring product alignment with the company’s goals and vision. The role also involves mentoring teams, staying ahead of emerging technology trends, and providing strategic guidance to enhance the organization’s technological capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Development, with a focus on scalable and optimized solutions.
- Strong Project Management skills, including the ability to delegate, oversee multiple teams, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Expertise in IT Strategy and Architecture, with a clear vision for technology integration and roadmap creation.
- Experience in Product Development, from ideation and design to implementation and delivery.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire technical teams.
- Understanding of cloud-based platforms, cybersecurity, and new technology trends is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a tech leadership role and experience in fast-paced startup environments is highly desirable.
