Location: Ahmedabad – Zydus Corporate Park
Designation: Deputy/Associate Manager – HR Shared Services - Global HR Operations, Payroll & Analytics
Role Purpose
This role will be responsible for managing global HR operations, payroll coordination, budgeting, and HR analytics across multiple geographies. The position will ensure financial accuracy, process efficiency, and data-driven insights, while supporting strategic initiatives like M&A and GCC setup.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll & Payment Coordination (Global)
- Manage end-to-end payroll coordination and debit note processing for geographies including Vietnam, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, FWA, Sri Lanka, and the UK
- Prepare, review, and validate payment statements ensuring alignment with payroll inputs and approvals
- Coordinate with Finance teams for timely and accurate disbursement
- Ensure timely communication of payment confirmations to country HR teams
2. SAP Transactions & Budget Management
- Create and manage Fund Reservation Notes (FRNs) in SAP as per approved budgets
- Monitor budget utilization and maintain trackers to ensure adherence
- Support reconciliation and tracking of HR expenses across geographies
3. HR Costing & Provision Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly HR cost reports for Finance and Corporate HR
- Maintain HR provision tracker to ensure accurate accruals
- Analyze and highlight cost variances and provide actionable insights
4. HR MIS & Workforce Analytics
- Prepare and maintain monthly HR MIS covering headcount, joiners, leavers, gender, tenure for distributors and subsidiaries
- Support BRSR reporting (wage ratios, training data, engagement metrics)
- Analyze attrition trends, workforce movement, and cost optimization opportunities
- Provide HR analytics for monthly business reviews
- Track and report key workforce health indicators (MPC to BTO, rolling attrition)
5. M&A Support
- Support HR due diligence activities for M&A projects
- Assist in workforce data validation and cost modeling
6. GCC & HRIS Support
- Provide data support for Global Capability Center (GCC) setup initiatives
- Support implementation and ongoing enhancement of HRIS systems
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of global payroll coordination & HR operations
- Experience in SAP (FRN, budgeting, cost tracking)
- Strong analytical capabilities in HR MIS and data reporting
- Knowledge of financial controls, budgeting, and costing
- Exposure to GCC setup and global HR models
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Experience & Qualifications
- 6–12+ years of experience in HR Operations / Payroll / HR Analytics / Shared Services
- Experience handling multi-country operations preferred
- MBA / Postgraduate in HR / Finance / Operations preferred
