Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and driven Deployment & Support Engineer to join our Product team in Bengaluru. If you have a strong technical foundation and a passion for delivering seamless deployments and high-quality support, we would like to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment & Implementation
Ø Install, configure, and commission SMS Firewall and Voice Firewall solutions in telecom operator networks.
Ø Integrate firewall platforms with SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, and SIP networks.
Ø Perform end-to-end deployment activities, including system setup, rule configuration, traffic onboarding, and system validation.
Ø Coordinate with network teams for connectivity, routing, and signaling integration.
Monitoring & Operations
Ø Monitor SMS and voice traffic patterns and firewall system performance.
Ø Investigate alarms, security incidents, and abnormal traffic behaviour.
Ø Analyse logs, CDRs, and signaling traces (PCAP) to troubleshoot issues.
Ø Ensure high availability and performance of the firewall platform.
Technical Support
Ø Provide technical support for production systems.
Ø Troubleshoot issues related to SS7 signaling, SIP traffic, SMS routing, and firewall rules.
Ø Work with vendors and internal teams for root cause analysis and resolution.
Ø Coordinate with network operations, signaling teams, and product vendors during deployments and troubleshooting.
Ø Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions regarding system performance and enhancements.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Ø Strong knowledge of Telecom protocols: SS7, SIGTRAN (M3UA/SCCP), SIP, Diameter.
Ø Understanding of SMS routing, A2P messaging ecosystem, and voice call signaling.
Ø Experience with SMS Firewall and Voice Firewall platforms.
Ø Familiarity with fraud detection mechanisms (IRSF, Wangiri, CLI spoofing, SMS spam filtering).
Ø Experience analysing PCAP traces using Wireshark or similar tools.
System & Networking
Ø Linux / RHEL
Ø Networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, firewall rules, load balancing.
Ø Database basics (PostgreSQL) for log analysis.
