Duties

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning shipyard work operations, control system requirements, trade and shop practices, and the development of personnel in service shops. Experience determining and providing resolution of operational and maintenance problems with shipyard and ship's personnel. Experience applying extensive administrative knowledge of nuclear production trade work and technical methods, procedures, materials and processes associated with the repair and overhaul of complex Navy vessels. Experience interpreting Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Federal/State environmental regulations and local instructions. Experience investigating and analyzing practices and problems to initiate effective improvements and solutions.
