Duties
You will be responsible for providing policy direction, guidance, and advising on the authorization and plans for protecting personnel requiring personal protection.,You will develop, recommend, coordinate, and oversee policies involving force protection as well as developing and managing policies and procedures for the NCIS's vulnerability assessment programs.,You will exercise and provide technical and subject matter expertise concerning force protection education and training in the plan's development.,You will develop and present oral and written reports to senior management, assistant directors, and high-ranking military and civilian officials within and outside the Navy.,You will participate in selecting, assigning, and promoting subordinate personnel and hears and resolves complaints from subordinates.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Be a current supervisor within NCIS, with expert-level knowledge of, and skill in applying, state-of-the-art methods and techniques to protect against threats in the realms of Force Protection, Antiterrorism and Physical Security; this includes skill in guiding desk officers and subordinate supervisors concerning security issues. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
