Duties
You will serve as the ISaT Deputy Director as the principal advisor to the ISaT Director.,You will be responsible for assisting in the development of a comprehensive (IT) strategy to enable the Agency Sponsor’s strategic business objectives in support of business functions, mission operations, and overall warfighter support.,You will direct a staff and administrative personnel engaged in a broad range of IT management functions crucial to the development, testing, integration, implementation, surveillance, diagnosis, and maintenance of the IT initiatives.,You will direct IT strategy, operations, and sustainment services which guide and oversee the operations and transformation of Agency delivered IT services and support.,You will serve as the project leader and senior technical advisor responsible for devising, implementing, and overseeing the data and information management requirements of the Agency.,You will execute DON guidance for managing, directing, executing, overseeing, and implementing IT policies, strategies, and programs within the Agency.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Directing programs responsible for developing IT strategic direction and plans to enable and facilitate Enterprise business and mission objectives. 2) Serving as the technical advisor for the introduction of new or enhanced technologies/information systems into the Command by performing analysis of COTS and GOTS products that will provide solutions to business and mission requirements. 3) Developing governance policies, procedures and technical aspects for the efficient operation of IT systems and applications.
