Duties

You will advise senior managers on financial policies, plans, and programs to ensure efficient resource use.,You will develop and implement financial management strategies to support organizational goals.,You will review and manage acquisition resources to align with program objectives.,You will prepare reports and recommendations to address financial variances and program challenges.,You will analyze financial data to assess the impact of funding changes on operations.,You will evaluate financial audit findings and suggest corrective actions for compliance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1) Developing and implementing financial management policies, plans, and strategies to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources in alignment with organizational goals. 2) Reviewing financial documentation, transactions, and budgetary requests to guarantee compliance with program objectives and Department of Defense regulations. 3) Analyzing budget and program data to prepare financial documentation, execution briefs, and recommend corrective actions for program variances. 4) Coordinating the reporting of costs and performance information to support organizational mission objectives and improve financial oversight. and 5) Providing financial advisory support to senior managers and program officials on budgetary policies, fiscal laws, and financial management processes to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
