Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Executive Director of Operations, and as the principal senior cyberspace operations advisor to the Director of Operations (J3) in the Cyber National Mission Force Headquarters (CNMFHQ).,Serve as a supervisor, including planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over non-supervisory employees assigned to the CNMF Operations Directorate (CNMF J3).,Serves as the principal expert and organizational continuity on the conduct of operations in support of the CNMF mission. Oversees all phases of the CNMF J3’s activities and work.,Responsible for decisions that have a direct and substantial impact on the management of cyber policy, planning, and resourcing encompassing CNMF operations.,Provide direction for cyberspace operations (CO), strategic theater engagement, and development of strategic policy and guidance, as well as for anticipating and synchronizing cyberspace activities for the CNMF.,Provide continuous supervision and direction on all facets of CNMF operations, including planning, command and control, fires, mission management, and enabling partnerships.

Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) Collaborating with teams to ensure mission objectives align with broader organizational and Department of Defense (DoD) strategic intent; 2) Leading strategic and operational planning negotiations across Joint, Interagency, and international boundaries; 3) Providing authoritative policy interpretation on unprecedented issues to resolve conflicts and foster joint collaboration; 4) Utilizing performance metrics to evaluate organizational success, such as identifying critical resource requirements and or implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiencies. This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
