Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Department Manager, located in Varanasi. The Department Manager will oversee daily operations within the department, manage staff, ensure production targets are met, monitor workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and quality. They will also be responsible for reporting performance metrics, implementing process improvements, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Leadership, team management, and organizational skills
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
- Good knowledge of the textile industry, specifically embroidery and digital printing production processes
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
- Proficiency in using production planning or inventory software is an advantage
- Prior experience in a managerial role within manufacturing or textiles
- A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Textile Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
