Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Department Manager located in Gujarat, India. The Department Manager will oversee daily operations of a retail department, including inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring superior customer experiences. Key responsibilities include meeting sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing visual merchandising, and upholding brand standards. The individual will also lead and coach team members, drive operational efficiency, and ensure strict adherence to company policies and processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in team leadership, staff training, and performance management to maintain strong team cohesion and productivity
- Proven experience in retail management, including sales forecasting, inventory control, and achieving sales goals
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage customer and team interactions
- Knowledge of visual merchandising, store operations, and implementing brand guidelines
- Ability to interpret sales data and maintain compliance with operational standards and policies
- Prior experience in fashion retail or related industries is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
