🚀 We’re Hiring: Department Head – Electrical
We are looking for a seasoned leader with strong expertise in electrical design and offshore projects to head our Electrical Department.
🔹 Role: Department Head – Electrical
🔹 Experience: Minimum 20 years
🔹 Qualification: B.E. Electrical
🔹 Location: Bangalore
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design & detailed engineering for FPSO topside modules / offshore installations
- Provide construction & fabrication yard support to resolve site queries
- Manage and mentor a team of 40–50 engineers, designers & 3D modelers
- Drive project schedules, resolve technical issues & remove bottlenecks
- Review critical deliverables such as:
- Single Line Diagrams
- Load Schedules
- Area Classification Drawings
- Material Requisitions
- Technical Bid Evaluations
- Handle client & vendor management effectively
- Lead proposal engineering, including:
- Contract document review
- Man-hour estimation
- BOQ & software requirements
- Plan resource allocation, hiring & annual appraisals
- Implement training & development initiatives to improve team efficiency
- Drive process improvements, standardization & quality enhancement
✅ Key Skills Required:
- Strong experience in offshore electrical engineering (FPSO projects preferred)
- Proven leadership in managing large engineering teams
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
- Expertise in project execution, planning & delivery
