Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based in the Bangalore Urban district. The Dentist will perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for patients of all ages. Daily responsibilities include providing preventive care, restorative procedures, endodontic treatments, basic prosthodontic and cosmetic procedures, and coordinating orthodontic care as needed. The role involves educating patients and caregivers on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and long-term care, while maintaining detailed clinical records and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols. The Dentist will collaborate with clinic staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care and support a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Clinical dentistry skills, including comprehensive examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of preventive and restorative care.
- Competence in endodontic procedures, minor oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and basic cosmetic and orthodontic treatments or referrals.
- Strong patient communication skills for explaining treatment options, obtaining informed consent, and providing oral hygiene education.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team and contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice, infection control standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement.
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution; MDS in a relevant specialty is an advantage.
- Valid dental registration with the appropriate dental council and eligibility to practice in Karnataka.
- Prior experience in a busy clinical setting and familiarity with digital radiography and modern dental equipment is preferred.
