Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dentist, based in New Delhi at the Institute of Paramedical Science and Management. The Dentist will provide high-quality dental care and services to patients, including diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and performing dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, prosthetics, and orthodontics. They will also educate patients on oral hygiene practices, maintain detailed patient records, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the institution. This role involves active participation in faculty activities, including mentoring and guiding dental technician students as part of IPSM’s educational objectives.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, including diagnostics, preventive care, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery.
- Expertise in patient care, communication, and ability to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Proficiency in the use of dental technologies, instruments, and equipment commonly employed in modern practices.
- Strong documentation, record-keeping, and attention to detail abilities required for maintaining accurate patient history.
- Experience in teaching or mentoring is an asset for contributing to the institute’s educational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS) is required; a Master’s degree in Dentistry (MDS) or specialization in specific dental fields is highly desirable.
- Current licensure to practice dentistry in India as per regulatory requirements.
